Senior Server-Side Developer

For the past 2 years HopOn has been working on a unique mobile payment solution for public transit which is already operational in a few locations.

Now, HopOn is growing and looking for a talented and eager Senior Server-Side Developer to join our team in Tel-Aviv.
Your primary challenge will be to model, design and develop a performant, scalable system while working in small, experienced team.

So, besides you being a people-person and a good teammate this is what we’re looking for:

• 4+ years of experience in PHP server side using a modern MVC framework
• Knowledge of current Web technologies: Restful APIs, JavaScript, AngularJS
• Experience with relational databases
• Good understanding of design patterns
• Production experience with AWS
• Excellent multitasking abilities
• Experience in TDD
• Self-learner, with ability to see a project through from A to Z
• Experience with Linux OS
• Fluent with Git

BONUS:

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Experience with the public transport domain
• Experience with NoSQL databases
• Experience with developing the backend of a mobile app
