BUPA / Richmond Villages

When Richmond Villages needed a new, complete EPOS system for their award-winning  luxury retirement villages, ECR were delighted to offer them a bespoke solution designed to operate food & beverage and leisure offerings within the villages

Richmond Village offers a wide choice of retirement accommodation, including Village Apartments, providing independent living, and Village Suites for assisted living. In addition, all Richmond Villages have their own care home. Every village is an active retirement community in its own right, as well as playing a full part in the local community.

ECR provide both hardware and software ensuring that residents can expect the highest level of service supported by an EPOS solution that recognises their residency status, keeps accurate account detail, including member benefits and payments.

The solution offers a central management function supporting the client’s Head Office users, and facilitating Management Information.

Features include:

  • All standard ECR’s EPoS functionality;
  • The capability to manage a members scheme (SPA system);
  • Loyalty scheme and cashless option to pay by membership cards.

Integration into the client’s existing CareHome management software was also a key requirement.

ECR provided Richmond Villages with the proposed EPoS solution as part of a three-phase implementation:

Phase 1

EPoS Hardware delivery, installation and setup by ECR technical engineers was carried out onsite. The system was developed, put through extensive testing, and delivered fully functioning and ready to deploy, accepting card payments

Stock Management was also an integral deliverable as part of Phase 1

Phase 2 – Member Scheme

The project was mapped to fully understand the member scheme requirements, in order to specify the final system. Integral to this was the bespoke Leisure Booking System.

Development incorporated the client’s own cashless payment cards and loyalty scheme, as well as integration with client software.

The fully PCI compliant system covered all of the client’s requirements, including remote menu management, via head office, full stock management and the recognition of both members and non-members & guests.

Head office users benefit from clear control and visibility across all operations and a full reporting suite.
